Camping In The Southern West Virginia Mountains
You can’t find better places to camp than our state parks and national parks. The Three Rivers Region is lucky to be the only place in West Virginia where you can visit three of these parks, that connect to each other.
High on the mountains overlooking the valleys of three amazing rivers- the New River Gorge, the Bluestone River, and the Greenbrier River- campers will enjoy everything they went camping for in the first place: solitude, beauty, and a remarkable experience.

Pipestem Resort State Park Campground
82 campsites. Deluxe sites have water, sewage and electric hook-ups. Stand sites have electric only. A central bathhouse with laundry facilities and hot showers. Dumping station available. Grills and picnic tables on each site. Reservations available Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Pipestem Country Campgrounds, LLC
Year-round camping. Electric, water, sewer and Wi-Fi. Fishing and hunting supplies. Close to Pipestem and Bluestone State Parks and near the New, Greenbrier and Bluestone Rivers. Major credit cards accepted.
Bluestone Wildlife Management Area
Primitive camping area with over 300 sites. Hunting, fishing, hiking on 17,632 acres. Adjacent to Bluestone Lake. One rustic pavilion and stables.
Willow Wood Country Club Campground
Complete hook-up campground with septic, water, cable tv and electric available. The campground is adjacent to Willow Wood Country Club golf course. Ride youor golf cart to the clubhouse to enjoy a day of golf. For availability call 304-466-3220.
Riverchase Lodge & Campground
Great fishing, tent camping and a rustic cabin directly on the Upper New River. Reservations required. Major credit cards accepted.
Rock Ridge Resort, LLC
RV campsites with full hookups, tent sites, cabins, pool, clubhouse with kitchen, pavilion. Reservation required. Ideal for reunions and church gatherings. Open April - October.
Camp Summers
This 56 acre facility includes six cabins, dining hall/patio, kitchen, bathouses/showers, large sporting field, pool, basketball and sand volleyball courts. Perfect for sporting, band or church camp, family reunion, wedding, etc. Contact Sandy Turner, Diroector.
Bluestone State Park
Encompassing more then 2100 acres of rugged, heavily forested, mountainous terrain. Bluestone State Park provides a wide variety of water-oriented activities for guests and residents of southern WV. Just 5 miles south of Hinton, Bluestone offers 26 fully eqipped modern cabins, a campground, hiking, fishing, swimming and more. Adjacent to Bluestone Lake, the state's third largest body of water.
